Semester 2 2009 Reflection/Review

Medium is what what you use for an example colored pencils, and shading pens.
Greenwareis clay that has not been fired yet.
Craftsmanship is a person who practices art work.
Relief Printing is when you are printing artwork from a raised surface.
Weaving Loom is when you interwine/ weave stripes of paper together.
Ceramic Coil Building is a method of long snake like structures to form a pot.
Warp Threads (weaving) is interlacing stripes of paper to form a pattern.
Plagiarism is when you copy someone elses work.
Vaninshing Point is the point in which two lines meet evenly.
Monotype is the process of when permits only make one copy.

2. The artist Ian Wright really inspires me because his artwork looks like it has meaning to it and goes back in history. I also really like the way he produces his artwork, it looks 3D.

3. When applying paint to your ceramics you should add two coats of paint.

4. When labeling printmaking your initals go in the bottom right hand corner in pencil.

5. My greatest success in art this semester was learning how to draw in different perspectives and fininshing my picture of Evan because I didn't think I would and I pushed myself.
